On Thursday, January 12, Political Learning School participants met in a work meeting where they spoke about the main rules of writing an effective policy paper. Thus, those present discussed with the IDIS “Viitorul” experts about topics they chose for their research, reformulated some of their topics and analyzed components of the input paragraph. Leonid Litra, a graduate of the Political Learning School for motivated young, the 2007 edition and, at the present an expert of IDIS “Viitorul” told to participants about the need to formulate hypotheses and to determine variables that will accompany the research to explain as relevant the studied subject. Among topics chosen by young leaders are included "The sectoral working groups work on Transnistrian settlement" an activity that should be directed to solve problems of the population from the both banks of the Dniester, and, at the same time, a very controversial and discussed topic on Moldova's political arena. Finally, Leonid Litra encouraged and motivated young people to write qualitative studies in producing convincing arguments, studies that will became in the future successful IDIS “Viitorul” Policy Briefs. Young people have received advices and comments from Ghenadie Mocanu, tips that will help them during their researches. The guide "How to write effective policy papers" a product of the Open Society Institute and recommended by the IDIS “Viitorul” expert will also contribute to the development of research initiated by the participants. Political Training School participants will present in early February their research proposal in where they will argue the actuality of the studied problem studied, the purpose and objectives of the investigation. .........................................................
