IDIS Expert: visit of Barroso and the European future of the Republic of Moldova
Broadly speaking, the speech of the European Commission President in Chisinau was a predictable one. With all the praise and encouragement to Moldova, Barroso, in his speech, avoided to pronounce the word “accession”, noting that the common purpose of the Republic of Moldova and the European Union is that established by the Eastern Partnership - “the political association and economic integration”. This is the opinion of the IDIS “Viitorul” expert, Ion Tabirta. In the new edition of the Foreign Policy Statewatch, entitled “The visit of Barroso and the European future of the Republic of Moldova” is analyzed the official’s visit and the position of the Republic of Moldova in the "Eastern Partnership".

IDIS Bulletin: Signing the treaty on the border regime with Romania highlights the shortcomings of the Constitution
