Nine communities in Moldova will open their doors to share best practices

 

Communities with best practices will organize Open Doors Day in their localities from 18 September to 2 November 2022. Thus, representatives of local authorities in nine municipalities will share their successful experiences with other mayors and the general public.

The events take place with the financial support of the Council of Europe and the logistics of the Institute for Development and Social Initiatives (IDIS) "Viitorul". Thus, the Open Doors Day itinerary will include the following destinations:

Sunday, September 18
Budești village, Chisinau municipality
Modern sidewalks for the 5 thousand inhabitants of Budești village

Wednesday, September 21
Slobozia Mare village, Cahul district
The village of Slobozia Mare boasts the largest market in Southern Moldova

Friday, September 30
"Vasile Alecsandri" District Public Library, Telenesti city
"Bibcamping of the curious" from Telenesti

Monday, October 3
Şireti village, Străseni district
Modern sports ground for the residents of Şireți

Wednesday, October 5
Tourist center "Portile Raiului", Căplani village, Ștefan Vodă district
"The Gates of Heaven"

Thursday, October 6
The windmill in Gaidar village, UTA Gagauzia
Discover the Gaidar windmill, restored with EU support

Thursday, October 13
Tarigrad village, Drochia district

At the Open Doors Days, representatives of local authorities, NGOs and the media are invited. The events are organized according to the rigors of the Extraordinary National Commission in Public Health. The organizers will ensure that safety rules concerning the prevention of the coronavirus spread are respected in accordance with the restrictions in force.
